Faith In Public Life – Blogging Faith
I guess regarding the last post, I found this on the net also. I’ve linked to this blog before, but I find it quite refreshing. It’s a very accepting, and (oh no, I’m going to use the word!) progressive. The sermon, I guess, asks for harmony, and convincingly suggests that it’s wrong for us to judge. Have a read, but i’ts quite long.
This, in sort of contrast to the following links (apart from the buddhist one) which refer to more narrow-minded thinking which seems to be based on scripture and older interpretations (which doesn’t necessarily mean that such thought isn’t widely shared at present).
http://homosexuality-religion.blogspot.com/2007/04/islam-and-homosexuality-1.html Islam and Homosexuality
http://homosexuality-religion.blogspot.com/2007/04/christianity-2.html Christianity and Homosexuality
http://homosexuality-religion.blogspot.com/2007/04/buddhism-2.html Buddhism and Homosexuality
All links from the same blog - but it seems to be a good resource with regards to this topic.
