the thinking blog: Guide to Blog Promotion
A good read. I think my blog-posts need to be much shorter. It’s going to be really difficult, but I will try limit my posts to 1000 words.

I’m not a fan of long posts. I’ve stopped reading many of your previous posts after a couple of paragraphs…
Comment by pheona May 27, 2007 @ 4:15 pmYes I don’t particularly like long posts, however I also hate reading posts that don’t explain enough or leave out bits of an argument. It’s hard to make some of the points that I try to make, without writing a decent amount. But, I’ve decided to take a different approach to my content, because I’ve come to a realisation about all this garbage – which I’ll blog about at some point I’m sure.
And, I think, if you found nothing of interest or nothing that annoyed you after a couple of paragraphs, there’s no way you would have found anything interesting in my posts even if they were shorter, or if you had read on.
Comment by Arnie May 27, 2007 @ 6:14 pmIt’s not that I’m not interested in the content, it’s that I’m trying to limit the time I spend online. I’ve got a bit on my plate at the moment and I haven’t got the time to read and think about everything in your posts. If I had more spare time I wouldn’t mind reading longer posts…
Comment by pheona May 27, 2007 @ 8:02 pmYeah It’s tough! I’m spending way too much time writing and reading and all such stuff relating to blogs!
