Truth is a difficult topic and term to deal with. Absolute truth is something that no one can be sure about until they truly experience it, and even then, I don't think they'd be able to explain it in words a person who lacks that experience could talk about. But what I read up to there is very interesting. I agree with you, the ability to define "truth" is practically impossible. It's like saying "The truth is, the sky is blue" - but is that truth? If the color had been given a different name in the English language, then it would not be blue, and might be some other random word - know what I mean. Truth is what you are <i>told</i> it is. My mum told me the sky was blue, therefore it is truth. If she had been taught something different, then I might believe that was true. I think we all need the reassurance of the idea of truth, but I really don't think it exists. I think everything is about interpretation and what you have learned and how u take ur previous knowledge and use that to claim your own "truth". Truth is what you are told it is. My mum told me the sky was blue, therefore it is truth. If she had been taught something different, then I might believe that was true.
